Aussie Dances has a dance every Friday and Saturday night in Brisbane. Both of these Aussie Dances has LIVE music for ALIVE people.

The Friday night dance each week is at Mt Gravatt Bowls Club, which is situated at 1873 Logan Road, Upper Mt Gravatt. Clicking on the address will take you to a map giving directions.

The Friday night dance starts at 8.00 pm each Friday night and continues through to 11.30 PM. The cost is $10 per person, payable at the door, and everyone is welcome.

The venue for our Saturday night dance varies. The program for several weeks in advance is listed on the 2008 Dances page of this web site.

The performers and bands that we have organised for both our Friday night dances and our Saturday night dances are also listed on the 2008 Dances page of this web site.

Saturday Night Dances
Our Saturday night dances have been operating successfully since August 2007 at various venues in and near Brisbane. The social dancing on Saturday nights starts at 8.00 pm and continues through until 11.30 pm. 

The dances format on Saturday nights is a mixture of Ballroom, Latin and Rock ‘n Roll. Sometimes New Vogue dances are included also. The minimum dress standard expected is smart casual. However, some men prefer to wear ties and coats, and some women attending also prefer to dress a little more formally.

Table bookings are available by phoning Ian on 07 5547 7187 or 0400 106 654. Cost for our Saturday night dances is $12 per person, payable at the door.

We are often asked what age group and what standard of dancers we cater for. The simple answer to both questions is ALL.

If you can’t dance at all, or have not danced for some time, then come along and initially just enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly people we have attending. Before long you’ll be up on the floor moving to the music, and before you know it you’ll will be dancing. Of course, attending our free lessons between six and seven o’clock will certainly help.
